understanding exposure

think about it like this your collecting rain in a bucket and if you leave it outside a along time then you get a lot of rain and the less time you leave it then you get less rain.
and now picture the more sunlight you let in the picture you get a blur when someone is doing an action and when you leave it less time the better and higher quality it is and now if you want to get an action shot then change you f stop to the biggest number because the hole is going to be small and the smaller the number the bigger the hole.

this picture of Keith carter makes me feel good because I see 2 couples having a picnic and they are having fun and while the background is all blurry and its just focused on the couple and part of the tree and while he used a different f stop for the background. and what is the photographer is trying to communicate the different lines or just is trying to show the prospection on  the picture like lines and curves theirs so many curves in this picture.
this picture of harry Callahan makes me feel that wow im in slow motion because he is using a slow shutter speed or its that im looking at a window and  just taking a picture and just letting my picture in the window and then he just wanted to get a great picture

shutter speed

The camera's shutter speed, the lens's brightness and the scene's luminance together determine the amount of light that reaches the film or sensor.is a quantity that accounts for the shutter speed and the f-number. Multiple combinations of shutter speed and f-number can give the same exposure value. According to expose value formula, doubling the exposure time doubles the amount of light. In addition to its effect on exposure, the shutter speed changes the way movement appears in photographs. Very short shutter speeds can be used to freeze fast-moving subjects, for example at sporting events. Very long shutter speeds are used to intentionally blur a moving subject for artistic effect.

iso what is it well let me explain what that is well its It is challenging to take good pictures without a good understanding of how ISO works and what it does. Camera ISO is one of the three pillars of photography the other two being  aperture and shutter speed and every photographer should thoroughly understand it, to get the most out of their equipment. Since this article is for beginners in photography, I will try to explain ISO as simple as I can.

I like this picture because it shows so much depth in it and the f stop that's used in it because its focused on one thing and the rest or the back round is all blurred out.

f-number - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Photography deals with capturing light in a way that appeals to your artistic sensibiliti
of an optical system is the ratio of the lens's focal length to the diameter of the entrance pupil. It is a dimensionless number that is a quantitative measure of lens speed, and an important concept in photography.F-stops in particular have a tremendous effect on image characteristics, some of which may not be obvious to amateur shooters. For the bulk of this article, we'll discuss and improve your grasp of the mysterious f-stop.
